Cardinals agree to terms with Freese, 23 others

The St. Louis Cardinals agreed to terms with year contracts for the 2012 season on Wednesday.

Freese hit .297 with 10 homers and 55 runs batted in 97 regular-season games last season. He had a monster postseason, hitting .397 with five home runs and 21 RBI in 18 contests.

Also agreeing to terms on 2012 contracts were the following players:

Bryan Anderson, Mitchell Boggs, Matt Carpenter, Adron Chambers, Maikel Cleto, Allen Craig, Tony Cruz, Daniel Descalso, Brandon Dickson, Chuckie Fick, Sam Freeman, David Freese, Tyler Greene, Mark Hamilton, Jon Jay, Erik Komatsu, Pete Kozma, Lance Lynn, Adam Ottavino, Adam Reifer, Shane Robinson, Marc Rzepczynski, Fernando Salas and Eduardo Sanchez.
