Caps deal Perreault to Anaheim

The Washington Capitals traded forward Mathieu Perreault to Anaheim in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick in the 2014 NHL Draft and forward John Mitchell.

Perreault had six goals and 11 assists in 39 games with Washington last season. He has tallied 70 points (33 goals, 37 assists) in 159 career NHL games with the Capitals.

Mitchell collected 14 points (10 goals, 4 assists) and 48 penalty minutes in 61 games with the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League last season.
