Record against teams in latest playoff rankings: 2-0.

Record against latest AP Top 25: 2-0.

Record against bowl eligible teams: 3-1.

Best wins: at Oklahoma, 48-14; vs. TCU, 61-58.

Loss: at West Virginia, 41-27.

Scoring margin: 25.9.

Yards per play and national rank: 6.48, 24th. (http://www.cfbstats.com/2014/leader/national/team/offense/split01/category10/sort02.html)

Yards per play allowed and national rank: 5.10, 32rd. ()http://www.cfbstats.com/2014/leader/national/team/defense/split01/category10/sort02.html)

AP Analysis: The Bears again have the nation's top offense (581.1 yards, 49.8 points a game) with a solid but recently shaky defense. The two-touchdown loss at WVU after the fourth-quarter comeback over TCU hurt, and they held on last week for a 48-46 win after leading by 25 points over four-win Texas Tech. Baylor is still dragged down by a non-conference schedule of winless SMU, 5-6 Buffalo and a .500 FCS team.
