Bulls could be missing 4 starters again in key Central Division showdown with Pacers

Published January 13, 2015

Associated Press

The Chicago Bulls could be without four starters Monday night at Indiana

Guard Kirk Hinrich did not travel with the team after having a procedure to clean out an infection in his right elbow Saturday.

Before Monday's shootaround, forward Joakim Noah told reporters he did not expect to play because of planter fasciitis in his right foot. He's hoping a couple more days rest will get him close to 100 percent.

Forward Carlos Boozer is trying to come back from an injured right hamstring. Coach Tom Thiboudeau says he believes Boozer was close to returning and could play in Monday's showdown between the top two teams in the Central Division.

The fourth starter, guard Derrick Rose, has not played this season as he continues to recover from a torn ACL.
