Bryans reach sixth Wimbledon final

The world No. 1 twin Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike, secured a berth in their sixth Wimbledon final on Thursday.

The mighty siblings outlasted a 14th-seeded team of Indian Rohan Bopanna and Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vasselin, 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 6-3, 5-7, 6-3, on Court 1 at the All England Club.

Thursday's other semifinals winners were non-seeds Ivan Dodig of Croatia and Brazil's Marcelo Melo, as they upended a fourth-seeded duo of 40-year-old Indian Leander Paes and Czech veteran Radek Stepanek, also in five sets, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.

The Bryans own 14 Grand Slam doubles titles, including Wimbledon championships in 2006 and 2011. They currently own three-quarters of the major titles, capturing last year's U.S. Open and this year's Australian and French Opens, and will seek a "Bryans Slam" on Saturday.

The 28-year-old Dodig and 29-year-old Melo will both appear in their first- ever men's doubles Grand Slam final.

Saturday's winners will split $450,000.
