American twin brothers Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan secured a berth in the men's doubles semifinals at the Olympic Games.

The top seeds got past Israel's Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (12-10) at the All England Club. The 34-year-old twins, who captured a bronze medal at the Beijing Summer Games four years ago, will meet an unseeded French pairing of Julien Benneteau and Richard Gasquet on Friday.

The Bryans need Olympic gold to complete a career "Golden Slam" in doubles.

The other semi will pit second-seeded Frenchmen Michael Llodra and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga against Spaniards David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez. Ferrer and Tsonga are ranked fifth and sixth in the world, respectively, in singles.
