Briere a healthy scratch for Game 5

Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Montreal Canadiens head coach Michel Therrien has made and interesting lineup change prior to Saturday's Game 5.

Veteran center Danny Briere is a healthy scratch and Brandon Prust has taken the roster spot.

Briere has racked up 113 points in 116 career playoff games, including four points in eight games (1G, 3A) during these playoffs, but the Canadiens may be looking for some offense as a result of toughness, following Monday's 1-0 overtime defeat which evened the series at two games apiece.

Brandon Prust, the 30-year-old winger, has picked up one assist in six 2014 playoff games, but hasn't played since Game 2 as a healthy scratch. He'll play alongside Travis Moen and Dale Weise on the Habs' fourth line.
