The Brewers' 40-man roster is down to 35 players.
Milwaukee outrighted 24-year-old utility infielder Hernan Perez to the Triple-A Colorado Sky Sox on Friday.
Perez was an early-season add last year after playing in just 20 games for the Detroit Tigers, before being claimed on waivers by Milwaukee.
A native of Aragua, Venezuela, Perez appeared in 90 games for the Brewers, hitting .270 with 21 RBI and a .281 on-base percentage.
A career .235 hitter through just 156 games played, Perez was selected in the 2007 Amateur Free Agent draft by the Tigers and earned his first MLB appearance in 2012.
