Marcelinho Huertas made two free throws with five seconds remaining to help Brazil hold off Australia, 75-71, in the men's basketball tournament.

Huertas ended with 15 points and 10 assists for Brazil. Leandro Barbosa and Anderson Varejao tallied 16 and 12 points, respectively.

Patrick Mills had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead Australia. Joe Ingles and David Andersen added 15 and 14 points, respectively.

Ingles' layup with 1:14 to play pulled Australia within four, 73-69. After each team missed from beyond the arc, Barbosa was whistled for an offensive foul. Ingles followed with another layup to make it a two-point contest.

But Huertas made two big free throws with five seconds left to seal the victory for Brazil.
