Braehmer beats Oliveira for WBA light heavyweight belt

Neubrandenburg, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Juergen Braehmer took a 12-round unanimous decision over Marcus Oliveira to win the WBA light heavyweight belt on Saturday.

Braehmer (42-2) took all three scorecards, 115-112, 117-110, 117-110, to take down Oliveira (25-1-1) to claim the vacant title.

Braehmer knocked down Oliveira in the 10th, and dominated the 11th round before Oliveira tried to rally in the 12th.
