Third baseman Hunter Dozier and outfielder Jorge Bonifacio, both hitting above .400 this spring, are among six players optioned to Triple-A Omaha, the Kansas City Royals announced Friday.

Bonifacio is batting .414 with three homers and seven RBIs this spring. Dozier is hitting .409 with two homers and six RBIs.

Also going to Omaha are right-hander Andrew Edwards, catcher Cam Gallagher, infielder Ramon Torres and outfielder Bubba Starling.

The moves leave the Royals with 45 active players (16 non-roster invitees) in major league camp, not including left-hander Brian Flynn, who is on the 60-day disabled list.
