The Chicago Blackhawks acquired defenseman round round draft pick in 2013.

The 30-year-old totaled two goals and 13 points in 63 games for Winnipeg this season.

A former seventh-round pick of the Capitals in 2001, Oduya broke into the NHL with New Jersey in 2006 and was shipped to Atlanta in February of 2010 in the deal which saw Ilya Kovalchuk acquired by the Devils.

Oduya has racked up 22 goals, 109 points and 222 penalty minutes in 445 games with the Devils and Thrashers/Jets franchise.
