Blackhawks agree to terms with Rasmussen

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Swedish forward Dennis Rasmussen.

The 23-year-old left-handed shooter spent this past season with Vaxjo of the Swedish Hockey League, compiling 16 goals and 24 assists in 52 games.

Over six seasons playing in his native country, Rasmussen has racked up 56 goals and 138 points over 256 appearances. He has been a part of two bronze- medal winning teams with Sweden: the 2010 world juniors and 2014 world championship.
