ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) Buffalo Bills starting cornerback Stephon Gilmore has been taken to the locker room to be examined for a possible concussion.

Gilmore was hurt tackling Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Markus Wheaton in the first quarter on Saturday afternoon. Gilmore led with his head, and was struck by Wheaton in the right shoulder and helmet.

After attempting to get up, Gilmore lay back on the field and treated by Bills trainers. He was then escorted off and led directly to the locker room under his own power.

Bills rookie linebacker Tony Steward will not return after hurting his knee.
