Berdych reaches Queen's Club quarters

London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Second seed Tomas Berdych posted a third-round victory Thursday at the $965,000 Aegon Championships, a grass-court Wimbledon tune-up.

The former Wimbledon runner-up got past France's Adrian Mannarino, 7-6 (7-2), 6-4, at The Queen's Club.

Berdych's quarterfinal opponent on Friday will be 10th-seeded Spanish left- hander Feliciano Lopez, who outlasted Frenchman Kenny De Schepper 7-6 (7-3), 6-7 (4-7), 7-6 (7-3) on Day 4.
