Bentley, OneRepublic to perform at NFL kickoff

DENVER (AP) Dierks Bentley and OneRepublic will perform live before the NFL kicks off its season Sept. 8 with the Super Bowl champion Broncos hosting the Carolina Panthers, the team Denver beat for the title.

Performances by Bentley and OneRepublic will be featured in coverage of the 60-minute pregame show on NBC and NFL Network.

This is the 15th consecutive kickoff celebration to start the season and the 12th time the NFL has saluted the Super Bowl champions with the opening game in their stadium on a Thursday in prime time.

Previous entertainers have included Bon Jovi, Elton John, Toby Keith, Santana, Harry Connick Jr., Keith Urban and Taylor Swift.
