Bengals release LB Aaron Maybin, waive 2 free-agent rookies

The Bengals have released linebacker Aaron Maybin, a fifth-year player who signed with Cincinnati as a free agent in January.

Maybin was Buffalo's first-round pick out of Penn State in 2009. He has played for the Bills and the Jets, who released him last November. Maybe had appeared in 47 career games.

The Bengals also waived receiver Tyrone Goard and cornerback Troy Stoudermire on Sunday. Both were undrafted college free agents.
