Bengals receiver A.J. Green starts vs Jaguars after missing 3 games with injured toe

Published February 05, 2015

Associated Press

Bengals receiver A.J. Green is starting against the Jacksonville Jaguars after missing three games with an injured big right toe.

Right guard Kevin Zeitler is inactive with a calf injury. The Bengals also are missing linebackers Rey Maualuga (strained hamstring) and Vontaze Burfict (knee surgery). Vinnie Rey and Nico Johnson — signed off Kansas City's practice squad on Oct. 15 — are starting in their spots. Running back Giovani Bernard was ruled out during the week because of shoulder and hip injuries.

The Jaguars had left tackle Luke Joeckel back from a concussion that he suffered last week. Linebacker Dekoda Watson was inactive with an injured hamstring — he'd been listed as questionable — and J.T. Thomas moved over to his spot.
