Bears sign WR Morgan

Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bears added depth at wide receiver by signing Josh Morgan to a one-year contract on Monday.

Morgan, 28, amassed 214 yards on 20 receptions last season, his second with the Washington Redskins. He spent the first four years of his career with the San Francisco 49ers, who selected him in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft.

The Virginia Tech product has caught 199 passes for 2,488 yards and 11 touchdowns in 79 career games.
