Bears elevate cornerback Mitchell from practice squad to active roster

The Chicago Bears have elevated cornerback Terrance Mitchell to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.
Mitchell has been on Chicago's practice squad the entire season. He was drafted out of Oregon by Dallas in the seventh round last spring.
The Bears also waived linebacker Terrell Manning and signed safety Shamiel Gary and tight end Jacob Maxwell to the practice squad on Monday.
