Bautista joins Chivas USA

Carson, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Chivas USA announced Tuesday that the club has signed former Mexican national team forward Adolfo "Bofo" Bautista from San Luis, pending the arrival of his International Transfer Certificate. Per club and league policy, terms of the agreement were not be disclosed.

Bautista, 34, began his professional career with Estudiantes Tecos in 1998 but has enjoyed stints across the Mexican league with Morelia, Pachuca, Guadalajara, Chiapas and Queretaro.

"Bofo" made his debut with Mexico's national team in 2002 and has gone on to collect 38 caps and record 11 goals for El Tri.
