Barrios to leave Dortmund for China

Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios is set to leave the club at the end of the season for a move to Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande.

Dortmund confirmed the move on Wednesday saying that Barrios will join Guangzhou on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

The Paraguay international came to Dortmund in 2009 from Chilean side Colo Colo and helped the club win back-to-back Bundesliga titles.

But he has found it difficult to crack the starting lineup this season, starting only three games in league play while making 14 substitute appearances and scoring four goals.
