(SportsNetwork.com) - Homer Bailey has beaten every National League team in his career except for one, the Philadelphia Phillies.Bailey tries to win his fourth consecutive start when he leads the Cincinnati Reds against Philadelphia in the conclusion of a three-game set at Great American Ball Park.

Bailey is 0-4 with a 4.41 ERA in nine career starts versus the Phillies. The right-hander has won three overall straight starts for the first time since he went 4-0 during a stretch in July 2012. He's coming off a Tuesday home win against the Giants.

David Buchanan counters for the Phillies as he makes his fourth career start. The right-hander allowed 10 hits and seven runs in a 7-0 loss to the Nationals on Tuesday.

Todd Frazier had three hits, including a solo homer, and Jay Bruce added a two-run shot to lead the Reds to a 6-5 win Saturday. The Reds had a 6-2 lead after five innings and threw runners out at home in the sixth and seventh as the Phillies attempted to mount a comeback.

They snapped a three-game losing streak that included Friday's 8-0 loss in the three-game series opener, when Reds killer Cole Hamels outdueled Johnny Cueto to stop Philadelphia's season-long six-game losing streak.

Jimmy Rollins and Marlon Byrd hit two-run homers for the Phillies Saturday, and Carlos Ruiz added a solo blast. Rollins is now six hits shy of setting the Phillies all-time franchise hits record.

Alfredo Simon (8-3) earned his second win of the season against Philadelphia after giving up three runs on seven hits and no walks in six innings. Simon threw 7 2/3 shutout innings against the Phillies in a 3-0 win on May 16.

Roberto Hernandez (2-4) took the loss, allowing four runs on four hits and three walks in four innings.

Cincinnati lost two of three matchups in south Philly from May 16-18 and swept a three-game set at home last April.
