Belarusian Victoria Azarenka and Germany's Julia Goerges were semifinal winners Saturday and will meet for the title at the Generali Ladies Linz tennis tournament.

The top-seeded and world No. 1 Azarenka reached her ninth final of the year by cruising to a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Romanian lucky-loser Irina-Camelia Begu. She captured her fifth title of 2012 last week in Beijing.

Meanwhile, the fifth-seeded Goerges battled back to beat Belgian qualifier Kirsten Flipkens, 1-6, 6-2, 6-3.

Goerges, who reached the final in Dubai in February, is aiming for her third career title after posting wins in Stuttgart last year and Bad Gastein in 2010.

Azarenka is 3-1 lifetime against Goerges.

The newest Linz champion will earn $37,000.
