Auburn suspends WR Quan Bray for at least Arkansas game after arrest in Georgia

Published November 20, 2014

Associated Press

Auburn wide receiver Quan Bray has been suspended following his arrest in Georgia.

Tigers coach Gene Chizik said Sunday that Bray won't play Saturday against Arkansas. Chizik hasn't determined how long the suspension will last.

Bray was arrested Thursday night during a traffic stop on the University of West Georgia campus. Police say he was stopped for playing loud music, and officers realized he was driving on a limited permit. They found an open bottle of alcohol in the car.

Police say Bray hadn't been drinking.

Bray faces charges of loud music and possession of alcohol under 21, as well as a driver's permit violation.

Bray is Auburn's third-leading receiver with 11 catches for 82 yards.
