Auburn receiver D'haquille Williams leaves game with apparent leg injury

Auburn wide receiver D'haquille Williams sustained an apparent injury to his right knee.

Williams was helped off the field in the second quarter of the third-ranked Tigers' game with Texas A&M on Saturday after he lay on the ground for a couple of minutes. Fans chanted his nickname "Duke."

Williams was attempting to make a short catch but the ball popped out.

The junior college transfer, who was one of Auburn's top signees, sat on the sideline with a towel over his head.

Williams entered the game leading the Tigers in receiving with 37 catches for 598 yards and five touchdowns. Nobody else on the team had 20 catches coming into the game.
