Athletics option C Powell

The Oakland Athletics have optioned Landon A Sacramento.
Powell batted .176 with three doubles, one home run and four RBI in 32 games as the club's backup catcher this year.
This is the first time Powell is being sent down this season after being called up and sent down multiple times last year.
A corresponding roster move will be announced prior to Tuesday's game in New York.
