CLEVELAND (AP) A person familiar with the injury says Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor tore a finger ligament and will need surgery after the season. He was hurt during Sunday's loss to Buffalo and will try to play in Cleveland's final two games.
The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Monday because the Browns have not addressed Pryor's status.
The winless Browns (0-14) host San Diego on Saturday and play at Pittsburgh in the Jan. 1 season finale. Cleveland is trying to avoid joining the 2008 Detroit Lions as the NFL's only 0-16 teams.
Pryor caught four passes for 19 yards in the Browns' 33-13 loss to the Bills. A week earlier, he had just one reception for three yards against Cincinnati.
Browns coach Hue Jackson is expected to provide an update on Pryor later in the day.
