Angel Yin, Eun Jeong Seong advance to US Girls' Junior final at Tulsa Country Club

Long-hitting Angel Yin and South Korea's Eun Jeong Seong advanced to the U.S. Girls' Junior final, each winning two matches Friday at Tulsa Country Club.

The 16-year-old Yin, from Arcadia, California, won the last four holes to beat Andrea Lee of Hermosa Beach, California, 1 up in the morning quarterfinals, then held off Mexico's Evelyn Arguelles 1 up in the afternoon semifinals.

The 15-year-old Seong beat Canada's Naomi Ko 4 and in the quarterfinals, and routed Jayna Choi of Collierville, Tennessee, 6 and 4 in the semifinals.

Yin is No. 8 in the world amateur ranking, and Seong is 41st.
