Alexis DeJoria, Erica Enders-Stevens lead qualifying in NHRA Summer Nationals

Alexis DeJoria topped Funny Car qualifying, and fellow female racer Erica Enders-Stevens led the Pro Stock field Friday in the NHRA Summer Nationals at Atlanta Dragway.

DeJoria, the wife of television personality Jesse James and daughter of entrepreneur John Paul DeJoria, had a run of 4.012 seconds at 313.95 mph in her Toyota Camry. She won this year in Arizona and Las Vegas.

Enders-Stevens, the points leader coming off a victory in the last event in Baytown, Texas, had a 6.530 at 212.59 in a Chevrolet Camaro. She also won this year in Las Vegas.

Steve Torrence took the Top Fuel lead with a 3.765 at 321.50, and Eddie Krawiec led the Pro Stock Motorcycle field with a 6.852 at 195.17 on a Harley-Davidson.
