Alabama is a unanimous No .1 in the latest Associated Press poll.

The Crimson Tide received all 60 first-place votes and a total of 1,500 points from a nationwide media panel after Saturday's resounding 38-7 triumph over Mississippi State.

Once again, Oregon occupied the No .2 spot, but Kansas State, Notre Dame and LSU each moved up a spot to Nos. 3-5 following Florida's 17-9 loss to Georgia, which took control of the SEC East. The Gators dropped five places to eighth.

Ohio State is sixth, one spot ahead of Georgia. Florida State and Clemson round out the top 10.

The next 10 consists of South Carolina, which lost star running back Marcus Lattimore to a gruesome leg injury in Saturday's win over Tennessee, Louisville, Oregon State, Oklahoma, Stanford, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, USC, Boise State and Texas Tech.

Nebraska, Louisiana Tech, West Virginia, Arizona and UCLA are the last five teams ranked.
