ACC champion Virginia headlines field for 2014 Barclays Center Classic

Virginia, which won the Atlantic Coast Conference outright for the first time since 1981, will play in the 2014 Barclays Center Classic.

Joining the Cavaliers, who were ranked as high as No. 5 this season, in the field are Rutgers, Vanderbilt, and La Salle. The semifinals in the third annual event will be Nov. 28 and the championship game will be the next day.

The matchups will be announced later.

Mississippi beat Penn State 79-76 in this season's championship game.
