Berlin, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Arthur Abraham managed to retain his WBO super middleweight crown with a 12-round unanimous decision over Nikola Sjekloca on Saturday night.

Abraham (40-4) took the bout thanks to scores of 116-113, 116-112 and 119-110, and despite suffering a right hand injury midway through the fight which was largely useless thereafter. It's the third successful title defense for the 34-year-old Armenian.

Sjekloca (26-2), on the other hand, has dropped two of his last three fights since February of 2013, and couldn't capitalize on momentum from his last match, a second-round knockout of Misa Nikolic last August.
