San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Braylon Edwards will be sidelined indefinitely with a knee injury.
Edwards had a procedure done on his knee following Sunday's loss against Dallas, when the wideout caught one pass for 21 yards. He hauled in three passes for 37 yards in a season-opening win over Seattle the week before.
"He's going to be out for a little bit," said 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh, who did not care to speculate on the length of Edwards' recovery.
The 49ers signed Edwards to a one-year contract in the offseason following his two-year stint with the New York Jets.
