49ers sign RB Hunter to extension

San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Francisco 49ers have signed running back Kendall Hunter to a one-year contract extension.

Hunter, 26, has played his entire career in San Francisco after he was drafted 115th overall back in 2011. He suffered a torn ACL in preseason and will not play this season.

Since entering the league, Hunter has carried 262 times for 1,202 yards and seven touchdowns.
