2024 College Football Playoff odds: Will Alabama, SMU make 12-team postseason?

The fifth College Football Playoff bracket was revealed on Tuesday. And now that there's more clarity regarding which teams will make the postseason, the oddsboard for betting favorites to make the 12-team Playoff looks a lot different.

Before Week 14, for example, bettors could wager on Indiana (-2000), Notre Dame (-650) and Tennessee (-500) to make the Playoff, among others.

On the opposite end of the board were teams like BYU (+310), Ole Miss (+500) and Colorado (+600).

Now at DraftKings, there are only two teams whose odds are on this board to make the expanded 12 team postseason.

To Make the 2024-25 College Football Playoff:

Alabama
Yes: -370 (bet $10 to win $12.70 total)
No: +270 (bet $10 to win $37 total)

SMU
Yes: -400 (bet $10 to win $12.50 total)
No: +280 (bet $10 to win $38 total)
