2 Texas A&M-Commerce players killed, 2 others injured in 2-car crash in northeast Texas

Two Texas A&M-Commerce women's basketball players have died and two others were hurt in a two-car crash in northeast Texas.

A university statement says sophomore guard Aubree Butts of Lewisville and junior guard Devin Oliver of Rowlett died in the Tuesday afternoon crash on Loop 286 in Paris. Junior forward La'Tisha Hearne of Richardson and sophomore guard Zenobia Winbush of Schertz were injured. They were discharged from a hospital Wednesday.

Last season, Butts averaged 21.4 points on .367 shooting in 25 games last season, including 19 starts. Oliver averaged 13.4 points on .294 shooting in 24 games, including six starts. Hearne averaged 22.6 points on .404 shooting in 26 games, including 20 starts. Winbush averaged 3.2 points on .301 shooting in 22 games coming off the bench, averaging 10.8 minutes.
