Ravens Quarterback Jimmy Clausen Rents Out Westlake Village Home

Now with the Baltimore Ravens, quarterback Jimmy Clausen is attempting to score some extra points in the real estate market. The former Notre Dame star has put a house in Westlake Village, CA, on the rental market for $14,000 a month. Clausen played high school football in Westlake Village and purchased the home for $1.595 million in 2012.
The five-bedroom, five-bath home features a gourmet kitchen, three fireplaces, and a theater, along with a backyard pool and spa. Clausen reportedly remodeled the 5,633-square-foot Mediterranean-style home after he purchased it. Other notable features include a game room, two-story entryway, a three-car garage, and mountain views. The home sits in the gated community of North Ranch Country Club Estates. Clausen spent three successful seasons under center at Notre Dame before deciding to forgo his senior year and turn pro.
He was drafted in the second round by the Carolina Panthers in 2010 and signed a four-year, $4.2 million contract. After a rocky rookie season, Clausen was benched in favor of Cam Newton in 2011. Newton started for the Panthers in this year's Super Bowl. Clausen went on to a stint with the Chicago Bears before catching on with the Ravens late in the 2015 season.
