Film and TV Producer Gavin Polone Buys in Beverly Hills

One of Hollywood's most outspoken figures, Gavin Polone -- the executive producer behind such beloved TV shows as "Gilmore Girls" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" -- isn't just a film and TV legend, columnist, and dedicated tweeter. He also dabbles in real estate! In 2012, Polone (who once got a real estate license) sold a Los Angeles compound for more than $15 million, according to Variety, and now he's at it again.
The producer recently bought a three-bedroom home in Beverly Hills for $1.85 million, and this latest project is a bit of a mystery.
While modest by Beverly Hills standards, the 2,742-square-foot home sits on nearly a half-acre lot in the exclusive 90210 ZIP code. Polone might have plans to tear down the circa 1958 Asian-inspired Ranch-style home and build a mansion to call his own, but if not, we're wondering what is behind those double wooden doors and partial rock wall exterior. Did he stumble onto a perfectly preserved Mid-Century Modern? We hope so.
