Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is getting into the real estate market with a roar. He and wife Kelly Stafford have listed their Atlanta townhouse for $1.25 million.
Mrs. Stafford announced the listing on Instagram: "Matthew and I are selling our detached townhouse in Georgia!! It's a beautiful home right in the heart of Buckhead!"
The picture-perfect couple ( just married in April) have roots in the Peach State. The two met at the University of Georgia, where he was the star quarterback and she was a cheerleader. Say it with us: Awwwwww.
You'll ooh and ahh over their home, too. The four-level, four-bedroom property is newly renovated with dark hardwood floors. The updated kitchen has an oversize breakfast bar.
The property also features an open dining room and a great room with a fireplace.
Plus there's a rec room with a custom bar and an enclosed terrace. These were just some of the home's features that appealed to the Staffords, says co-listing agent Teri Frye of the Frye Team.
"Some of the features that originally appealed to them were the open floor plan, elevator that services all levels, outdoor living space, and the privacy of the end unit -- all while having Buckhead Atlanta at your doorstep," Frye says.
Sounds like a touchdown to us!
