Lawmakers often pass dozens of bills as the congressional year draws to a close, and on Wednesday the Senate decided to clear several ambassadors nominated by President Obama earlier this year.

The group was cleared to take office by a unanimous consent in the Senate, which means lawmakers did not have to individually vote on any of the nominees.

Here's the list:

  • Catherine Ebert-Gray, ambassador to the independent state of Papua New Guinea
  • G. Kathleen Hill, ambassador to the Republic of Malta
  • John D. Feeley, ambassador to the Republic of Panama
  • Eric Seth Rubin, ambassador to the Republic of Bulgaria
  • Kyle R. Scott, ambassador to the Republic of Serbia
  • Todd Chapman, ambassador to the Republic of Ecuador
  • Jean Elizabeth Manes, ambassador to El Salvador
  • Linda Swartz Taglialatela, ambassador to Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda and the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines
