Cruz to visit Arkansas

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is to bring his campaign to Arkansas just days before the March 1 primary.

A Cruz campaign official told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that the Texas senator will make his third visit to Arkansas on Feb. 28 at an a yet to be determined location.

Cruz previously campaigned in Little Rock, Van Buren and Russellville last summer and again in Little Rock in December.

Unofficial returns from the South Carolina primary on Saturday show Cruz finishing third behind Donald Trump and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.
