Clinton Foundation group to refile taxes under pressure

A spin-off of the Clinton Foundation announced plans to refile faulty tax returns one day after the Republican National Committee submitted a formal complaint about its decision not to fix the forms.

The Clinton Health Access Initiative had come under intense fire earlier this week for telling reporters it had no intention of refiling the tax returns despite admitting to mistakes earlier this year. Those filing errors had concealed millions in undisclosed foreign donations.

However, a spokeswoman for CHAI told Politico Wednesday the charity will refile the tax returns "in response to recent media interest in the forms."

CHAI was supposed to seek State Department approval for foreign donations between 2009 and 2013, when Hillary Clinton was secretary of state. Under an agreement with the White House, CHAI was required to disclose its donors.
