Bush campaign makes $600K ad buy in N.H.

Jeb Bush's presidential campaign made a $600,000 television ad buy in New Hampshire and the Boston media market. The buy will take effect on Wednesday and run through Dec. 22.

The former Florida governor's expenditure of money comes on the heels of the New Hampshire Union-Leader's endorsement of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Bush led New Hampshire polling this summer, but dropped to single-digit percentage points statewide by November.

Bush has begun leveraging his hawkish foreign policy ideas to help him gain voters in the Granite State, as 70 days remain until the primary. The ad features Medal of Honor recipients who support Bush and appears to draw a subtle contrast with Donald Trump, who has overtaken the former governor.

"This is no reality show, this is serious business," said James Livingston, a retired U.S. Marine Corps major general and medal of honor recipient, in the ad. "This is about the livelihood of our kids and grandkids."
