Two Air France flights made emergency landings Tuesday night after airport officials said they had received bomb threats.

Paris-bound Air France flight 65 was diverted to Salt Lake City shortly after taking off from Los Angeles Tuesday evening due to a bomb threat, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The first threat came in around 7:30 p.m. Mountain time and the flight with nearly 500 passengers was quickly rerouted.

The second bomb threat was called in for Air France flight 55 from Washington, D.C.-area Dulles International Airport to Paris. The flight was diverted to Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Law enforcement and FBI officials are on site at both airports investigating. Police do not have a suspect in custody and no one has claimed responsibility for the threats.
