Three high school freshmen are facing charges for allegedly putting their own bodily fluids into their latest creation in home economics class.

The students at Westside High School in Omaha, Neb., allegedly excused themselves to go to the bathroom last week and mixed their semen with frosting for the turnovers they were making. The teens, ages 14 and 15, now face misdemeanor disturbing the peace charges to be handled in juvenile court for the stomach-churning allegations, the Omaha World-Herald reports.

Westside spokeswoman Brandi Petersen said the students will be disciplined, but declined to elaborate.

“The students will face consequences,” she told the newspaper.

School officials are now cooperating with the Omaha Police Department to determine what – if any – criminal citations will be issued, said Petersen, who claimed the incident is not representative of Westside High School or the Westside Community Schools district of roughly 6,000 students.

“We do not tolerate anything of this nature,” Petersen said.

The unidentified students — according to a law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity – asked to go to the bathroom during a class assignment to make frosted turnovers on Thursday. Once in the bathroom, the students mixed their semen with the frosting and spread the mixture on the turnover. The female home economics teacher later realized something was off during a taste test, the newspaper reports.
