Looking for a way to curb your kids' candy intake this Halloween? Try keeping plenty of fresh, fun foods within reach of their grubby little hands.
That's a lot easier said than done, of course. The little devils are undoubtedly itching to start trick-or-treating, and pretty soon they'll be knee-deep in Snickers, Twix and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Your only hope is to fill their little bellies with wholesome snacks before they head out for the night.
With that in mind, it couldn't hurt to try this neat idea from Food Network personality Ellie Krieger. With just a few simple items, you might be able to convince your little ones to start eating "brains" straight from the skull of a jack grape-o'-lantern.
