For anyone who's ever tasted a hamburger and thought, "This needs more chocolate and peanut butter," you might be interested in the latest offering at The WORKS Gourmet Burger Bistro in Canada. (Also, you might be insane.)
Just in time for Halloween, WORKS has debuted their new Reese PBC Burger, which literally comes to the table stuffed with melted Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. It's also topped with deep-fried onion strings, smoked bacon, and another handful of Reese's Cups — but no cheese or anything, because that would be ridiculous:
The Reese PBC, however, isn't the only stuffed burger The WORKS has added to its menu in recent weeks: They've also debuted the Burgeroni, stuffed with chorizo and topped with pepperoni; and the Loaded Lucy, featuring a cheese-stuffed patty and bacon. They're all very popular with customers too, if co-owner Bruce Miller is to be believed.
"Our guests have been voting with their mouths already, making these three burgers our top sellers," Miller told USA Today, adding that WORKS might even be opening American franchise locations in the near future.
Until then, hungry (and confused) carnivores will just have to head north for a bite of WORKS' chocolaty meat sandwich, which currently sells for the whopping price of $15.98 (or about $12 American). Although, to be fair, it looks like it comes with a side of fries and a handy metal tray to purge into afterward, should the need strike you:
