'The Ring' actress arrested after riding in stolen car

“The Ring” actress Daveigh Chase was arrested for riding in a car that was reported stolen, according to TMZ.
Chase, who played the creepy young girl Samara in the 2002 film, was a passenger in a BMW that was pulled over by police in Hollywood Tuesday morning. After police ran the plates, the car was revealed to have been stolen. Even though Chase wasn’t driving, the 27-year-old actress was booked for the felony crime of driving in a car without owner’s consent.
Chase, who also voiced the character Lilo in Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch,” remains in jail on $25,000 bail.
A rep for Chase didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
