Here's what's happening, folks:
• After GQ announced her as their current Instagram crush, Sports Illustrated model Samantha Hoopes reblogged a bodacious bikini photo from GQ and thanked them in the caption (above). In related news, your cousin Brandon also declared Hoopes as his Instagram crush, but instead of getting a personal thank-you, all of his followers just thinks he's creepy.
• At the risk of also sounding creepy, Samantha's pic reminds us of our interview with Hannah Davis, whose will go down in history as maybe the most controversial of all time. Watch the clip below to learn why she showed her "core" rather than her "booty" and — oh goodness, we're getting creepy again, aren't we?
• CBS is reportedly planning a reboot of the '80s TV series "MacGyver," which was about an experienced secret agent who could solve any sudden problem with his vast knowledge of engineering. This time, though, the series will focus on a modern-day twentysomething who can solve any sudden problem, presumably with his vast knowledge of Twitter, Snapchat and cat memes.
• Budweiser has already debuted their socially conscious Super Bowl ad featuring "Trumbo" actress Helen Mirren, in which she likens drunken-drivers to "pillocks, "selfish cowards" and a "human form of pollution" (below). And we have to admit, it's very effective, both in deterring drunken-driving and sending us to the dictionary to look up "pillock."
• The Recording Academy revealed on Tuesday that Lady Gaga will be performing an "experiential" tribute to late musician David Bowie at the 2016 Grammy Awards. We're not sure why it's billed as "experiential," though perhaps it's because Gaga has plenty of experience in wearing eccentric spacesuits à la Ziggy Stardust.
• CBS announced on Tuesday that James Corden, the host of "The Late Late Show With James Corden," has been chosen to host the 70th annual Tony Awards in June. That said, we can probably expect Corden take the entire Tony Awards audience for a sing-along in his minivan:
• Earlier this week during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet admitted that her character of Rose in "Titanic" was responsible for the death of Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio). "I think he could have actually fitted on that bit of door," she stated, which is word-for-word what we've been screaming at our TVs for almost two decades now.
• In an interview with Glamour magazine, Gwyneth Paltrow vented her frustrations with Goop detractors who claim the site is too expensive, saying, "We sell things that are $8." Granted, those things include squirrel-shaped paperclips and sriracha sauce that should cost half what they do, but they are around $8 nonetheless.
• Entertainment Weekly as debuted the first trailer for actor/director Don Cheadle's upcoming Miles Davis biopic named "Miles Ahead" (below), which means Cheadle wisely ignored the film-title suggestions we sent him last month, which included "Miles Per Hour" and "Give Him An Inch and He'll Tale a Miles Davis."
• And finally, as announced by North Dakota's governor, former "Battle Creek" actor Josh Duhamel has been named "the face of North Dakota" by the state's tourism board. However, the governor has yet to announce when the good people of North Dakota plan to carve Duhamel's face into the side of a mountain, like their southern neighbors did with those four old guys.
